Wine sweetness

6. A Touch or More of Sweetness White or red

Wines with some residual sugar can give sipping pleasure. The slight sweetness may offset the perceived sourness (acidity) or bitterness of any wine.

Off-dry Riesling, Moscato,  and sparkling wines that are sweeter than Brut can grab attention.

In reds, you might suggest Apothic Red, Ménage à Trois, or many of the sweeter U.S. East Coast wines such as Red or White muscadine or those from Duplin Winery. Many sweet iced tea drinkers prefer wines with a touch or more sweetness.
