Waiter’s pulltap corkscrew

Wine openers

Many different sizes and shapes of wine openers are available. Your restaurant may have only one or two types but some types are better than others.

We recommend the ‘Waiter’s Pulltap” and If your restaurant doesn’t have that type, you should invest in one.

Waiter’s Pulltap Corkscrew with two edge fulcrums

The pulltap makes removing long corks much easier because of its two positions for leveraging the cork out of the bottle.

After 1st fulcrum is used to partially elevate the cork, the 2nd fulcrum is used to remove the cork the remainder of the way.

There are other types of corkscrews available.

But there is a special cork remover for a crumbling wine cork. It is called the Ah So cork remover. It would be very useful if your restaurant has at least one Ah So Corker remover for any corks that seem to be dried out and crumbling when using a regular waiter’s pulltap corkscrew.
