Lesson 9 – Suggesting a wine
In this lesson we are going to cover:
Customer Wine Buying Personalities, Customer Wine Style Preferences, How Well do Guests Detect Good Food and Wine Pairings?
Before making any wine recommendations it would help to know more about your customer. You may be able to determine some background information by asking a few quick questions or by making some inferences based on any initial conversations. You want to discover the price level of wines the customer might be comfortable with and what wine would please the person choosing the wine as well as the rest of the guests with him or her.
If you assess your guest accurately for wine likes/dislikes, they will be very satisfied with your service and reward you.
