While some guests may insist they can use the same glass from the previous wine or they can just rinse out the glass with a little water, try to convince them that a clean, different glass is best. The small residual in the glass of the previous wine or the water used to rinse out the glass can change the taste of the wine.
If they are not convinced of that, let them do as they wish since they are the guests.
