Section 4 – Pouring the Wine

When pouring the wine into guests’ glasses, there are some guiding principles to be aware of as the wine service person.

What is the normal amount of wine to pour into each guest’s glass?

Keep in mind an overall goal of wine consumption. Guests don’t want any of the wine to be wasted or poured out because someone does not drink as much wine as the others.

Also, it would be best if all of the guests would finish their wine at the same time, either to order another bottle or a different bottle or to just finish drinking any more wine at all.

So I have to estimate how much, how fast?
