Overserving red flags

So what are the red flags for overserving alcohol to a guest?

  • Slurring of words 
  • Poor balance or stumbling back from the restroom. 
  • Aggression towards staff 
  • Raised speech volume at the table
  • Spilling drinks, 
  • Inability to find one’s mouth with a glass 
  • Drowsiness
  • Difficulty opening and closing doors.
  • Any crude or boisterous behavior

 And remember a customer who is a pleasant drunk and a customer who’s an angry drunk are just as dangerous if they’re allowed to leave and get behind the wheel.
