At first contact, a friendly greeting

Well, what happens if the guest is uninterested in purchasing or drinking your wine?

For this, we come again to Dale Carnegie for his principles of “Winning People to Your Way of Thinking”

* – from Carnegie, Dale: How to Make Friends and Influence People. New York, NY, Simon and Schuster 1936

Begin in a friendly way – Everyone appreciates a smile and a friendly greeting. the opposite of that is rudeness.  In many cultures, the first thing out of your mouth must be a friendly “good morning” or “good afternoon” or “good evening”; otherwise you get the cold shoulder for any further conversation.

A good greeting is a key to establishing an initial relationship. What’s your key greeting going to be!

I can say good evening
